SOCAL Wildfires Charity Raffle

The Weirdo Swarm is coming together to support those impacted by the SOCAL Wildfires with this Pledge.to fundraiser and charity raffle supporting the California Fire Foundation. The California Fire Foundation will be providing direct relief to those impacted by these wildfires, discussed in a recent statement from their website: "On January 7th a series of wildfires started in Los Angeles County that have now spread throughout the region. The Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, Hurst Fire and Woodley Fire all continue to spread as the area experiences extreme high winds. Los Angeles County has experienced unprecedented damage and structure loss. The California Fire Foundation is working with local fire agencies and community-based organizations to provide direct financial support to impacted residents as details of the damage emerge." Over 150,000 people have been forced to evacuate due to these wildfires, 3 million people are without power, and over 2,000 structures have been damaged or destroyed. 5 people have been confirmed dead and sadly these numbers are expected to rise. SOCAL is extremely important to music communities as a whole, and it is obvious California is important to King Gizzard fans in that so many important shows have been played there - important memories among friends have been made there.

Spirit of Gizzmas 2024

We're continuing to support World Central Kitchen and launching a new annual Weirdo Swarm Charity initiative - THE SPIRIT OF GIZZMAS! Donations will be tracked via the fundraising site pledge.to, and donations will distribute directly to World Central Kitchen allowing us to track our impact as a community! For every dollar donated to WCK via the Weirdo Swarm fundraiser, you will receive one entry into the raffle for the grand prize of an official King Gizzard x WAH-WAH Australia gator sweater (size XL) AND Jason Galea Poster Book donated by IG @Scizzardland!

WCK is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to being first to supporting the frontlines by providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. Founded by respected chef José Andrés, the organization has served over 50 million meals in more than 17 countries.

Asheville Weirdo Swarm Charity Raffle

In response to the devastating impact from Hurrican Helene, the weirdo swarm came together to support BeLoved Asheville, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization who is working to provide relief to those affected by the storm with food, water, medical supplies and other necessities.

In ten days, 780+ people donated $34,000+. Over 100 people donated 300+ items, and 5 winners walked away with the prizes.

King Gizzard/(P)Doom supported this charity event by donating official merch to the first two winners.

NYC RAFFLE - World Central Kitchen

The NYC RAFFLE was held 16 and 17 August 2024 in person at Cobblestones Pub in Queens in support of World Central Kitchen! The raffle was a success in raising over $1000 for World Central Kitchen.

Collaborating with Bootleggers and Fan Artists a diverse raffle grand prize was formed including posters, bootleg cassette tapes, shirts, a tour zine, stickers, tarot deck, jewelry, patches, vinyl, and more! Artists who donated to the raffle prize included:

Charity Raffle for ReproductiveRights.org

This charity auction was held on Weirdo Swarm in 2023 and was hosted by IG @artdecho1985 who donated the items and successfully raised $1351 for reproductiverights.org.
