Starting Nov 1 Weirdo Swarm began a shirt preorder for the 2025 Spirit of Gizzmas Charity Initiative in support of Immigrant Defense Project. This year was a joint charity effort working with Chilean artist @Satan.Speeds.Up and community bootlegger and tiedye artist @igloobudstiedye. @Satan.speeds.up created and donated for this event his unique and special Gizzard inspired piece united around the phrase "Chinga La Migra". 100% of proceeds were donated to charity, and costs were reduced in production as @igloobudstiedye donated his time to complete dye work and printing for all orders.

We reopened preorders for this shirt upon community request and following an additional period of preorders over 250 shirts were ordered! A total of $5599 was raised and donated to Immigrant Defense Project from this charity event.

This was an honestly outstanding group effort - the funds raised will help great work continue to be done, and these shirts were absolutely stunning (both dyed and un-dyed!). It's going to be really special seeing them in person in the future knowing the widespread impact this particular project had at a very critical time when supportive voices are needed and a visual indication like this shirt can communicate a shared understanding of humanity and pursuit of safety for all people.
